Meet The Team

Shanur Dharamshi

Leicester MediSpa’s founder and clinical director Shanur Dharamshi is dedicated to providing the safest and most effective aesthetic and wellness treatments available. Shanur began her career in healthcare as an optometrist, before finding her passion for dermatology which led to her to completing a Master’s in Nursing from the University of Nottingham.

Shanur has worked for private hospitals caring for surgical patients and assisting with elective surgery. She has also held the position of dermatology clinical nurse specialist, focusing on performing minor skin surgical procedures.

Shanur has completed extensive training in advanced aesthetic practice and is currently working towards her Level 7 Diploma in Aesthetic Injectable Therapies – the highest qualification in medical aesthetics. Shanur continues to enhance her knowledge by training alongside some of the leading industry experts in aesthetic medicine.

Outside of running Leicester MediSpa, Shanur loves to spend time with her husband and five-year-old German Shepherd, Errol. The family are an active part of the Oadby community and are honoured to now be providing aesthetics and wellness care to those in the area and beyond.

Hannah – Clinic Manager

Hannah offers a wealth of experience in clinical dentistry and practice management, bringing 10 years of experience from the dental sector.

Hannah is passionate about learning and staying up-to-date with the latest treatments, techniques and the results that can be achieved. She enjoys sharing this knowledge with her patients and is dedicated to providing them with the best possible care. Hannah strives to enhance the patient experience here at Leicester MediSpa, always seeking to improve the patient journey and care provided.

Ellena – Skin & Laser Therapist

Ellena has worked in both assisting and treatment roles for laser and skin, bringing over two years of experience to her practice.
Currently, specialising in laser treatments, she has developed a deep understanding of the science behind various treatments, which fuels her passion for providing effective, results driven care. Ellena is committed to her ongoing professional growth and is currently working towards a bachelors degree in aesthetics to further enhance her knowledge and skills.
She truly embodies the “therapist” side to her job as she thoroughly enjoys getting the know the people behind the appointments and create a warm and welcoming environment which makes every visit enjoyable.
With a passion for both the art and science of aesthetics, Ellena is dedicated to helping clients feel their best- inside and out.

Louise – Skin & Laser Therapist

Louise is an experienced professional with 15 years of expertise in the beauty and aesthetic industry. Louise has worked in various aesthetic clinics and holistic beauty salons, providing laser and skin treatments. Louise has a strong passion for laser hair removal and skin correction, having suffered with acne herself as a young adult, Louise finds it extremely rewarding to be able to help others and educate them all about their skin. Louise also has a keen interest in alternative holistic treatments like Indian head massage, which can greatly benefit patients’ mindfulness to improve overall well-being. Throughout her career, Louise has enjoyed supporting patients along their journeys, whether it’s a course of laser hair removal or alternative therapies. She believes in taking a holistic approach to patients’ concerns and providing help, support and advice to patients on all aspects of mind and body wellness whilst delivering positive results.

Jayna – Physiotherapist

Jayna has over 8 years of clinical experience, specialising in Musculoskeletal and Neurological Physiotherapy. Jayna enjoys treating a variety of conditions, from sports injuries through to pre/post-operative care. During your initial consultation with Jayna, she will guide you through your rehabilitation journey and make a tailored treatment plan to maximise the full potential of your physical improvement. Jayna is an active member of the HCPC (health care professions council) and the CSP the chartered society of Physiotherapy.
