About Us

Shanur Dharamshi

Leicester MediSpa’s founder and clinical director Shanur Dharamshi is dedicated to providing the safest and most effective aesthetic and wellness treatments available. Shanur began her career in healthcare as an optometrist, before finding her passion for dermatology which led to her to completing a Master’s in Nursing from the University of Nottingham.

Shanur has worked for private hospitals caring for surgical patients and assisting with elective surgery. She has also held the position of dermatology clinical nurse specialist, focusing on performing minor skin surgical procedures.

Shanur has completed extensive training in advanced aesthetic practice and is currently working towards her Level 7 Diploma in Aesthetic Injectable Therapies – the highest qualification in medical aesthetics. Shanur continues to enhance her knowledge by training alongside some of the leading industry experts in aesthetic medicine.

Outside of running Leicester MediSpa, Shanur loves to spend time with her husband and five-year-old German Shepherd, Errol. The family are an active part of the Oadby community and are honoured to now be providing aesthetics and wellness care to those in the area and beyond.

Helen – Front of House & Patient Coordinator

Helen has 5 years’ experience in customer care and understands the emotional effects that skin concerns can have on our patients, having experienced the profound impact of acne for many years. Helen is the first face you will see at Leicester MediSpa and that friendly voice at the other end of the line, when you call us. Her welcome is always warm and she is extremely knowledgeable and informed on all of our treatments and protocols. Helen lives locally and in her spare time loves to cook (baking being her forte), cycle and practice yoga. Helen looks forward to getting to know you and being part of your health and wellbeing transformation.

Parina – Skin & Laser Nurse

Parina boasts 7 years of experience as a nurse and is passionate about aesthetics and beauty, taking a particular interest in women’s health. Parina completed advanced qualifications in dermal fillers and wrinkle-smoothing injections, and loves creating and witnessing the blossoming confidence that aesthetic treatments can offer to her patients. Parina is dedicated to ensuring that her work ethic is always professional and efficient, with your safety and wellbeing at the forefront of every treatment she performs.
